Welcome to Fantastic Farrers! I’m James “Wiley” Farrer, the creator and owner of this passion-driven seasoning business. The journey began 13 years ago in my sister’s kitchen, where a lack of enticing spices led me to experiment with blends of my own. After whipping up a tasty concoction and receiving enthusiastic feedback from my sister’s family, I knew I had something special.

With a newfound determination, I dove into researching bulk spices, packaging, and markets. Naming my venture proved a delightful challenge, but after hearing my family describe my creations as “fantastic” and “full of flavor,” the name Fantastic Farrers was born—“Freaking Fabulous Flavors!”

My first market experience in Moscow, ID, was unforgettable. With 75 bottles of my original recipe, I left with only 10, igniting my desire to share these flavors with the world. Life took me in different directions, but in 2017, I revived my spice dream, crafting new blends: Hot & Spicy, Mesquite, BBQ, and Jamaican Jerk.

With support from my amazing wife, Michelle, we rebranded and took to social media, connecting with customers at craft bazaars, markets, and trade shows. The response has been incredible, and I’m grateful to our loyal fans.

A recent highlight was standing in a local store, overhearing someone searching for my Jamaican Jerk seasoning, a reminder of how far we’ve come. It’s my sincere hope that every jar of seasoning brings you the same joy and excitement I feel when creating delicious dishes.
